A Regional Hub for End-of-Life Care

Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is pleased to announce that, for the first time in its 32-year history, we will own permanent headquarters. We ultimately envision a regional hub to resource clinical and business support services for all programs of care offered by PPHPC.

PPHPC moved into our new headquarters at 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906 on June 11th.   Important note:  Please use the Tenderfoot Hill Street location as the mailing address for Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation and all Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care services.  Our phone number remains the same:  719.633.3400.

The majority of the property houses improved outpatient services for patients receiving care in their own homes, assisted living centers, and skilled nursing facilities, as well as support for families. In addition, the property includes PPHPC's specialized pharmacy, counseling and grief center, commemoration space, education center, business operations, and Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation.

The Pikes Peak Hospice Unit at Penrose Hospital will remain on the 6th floor of the West Tower at Penrose Hospital.

Design BoardsThe Tenderfoot Hill building was constructed in 1998, and required some renovations to maximize efficiencies for all programs and services. We incorporated practical solutions to ensure a healthy working environment, improve energy efficiencies, lower operating costs, and preserve the building as a long-term asset.  YOW Architects provided design services and Collarelli Construction was the project's general contractor.  Dara Mattingly, owner of Elements of Interiors, provided interior design services.  City Projects, Inc. provided project management services.

We expect significant savings in facility-related costs by owning the property rather than leasing, as we have for more than 30 years. These  cost-savings will strengthen Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care's commitment to support programs such as financial assistance, expanded grief support, and other extraordinary services not covered by any other payor source.
