Adult Grief Support

Your grief and how you experience it is uniquely yours.

We know that the journey that begins with hospice care does not end with your loved one’s passing. Even if you have experienced a loss before, your feelings and healing process can be very different each time.

Holiday Memorial Service

Please come join us as we honor and remember the lives who have made love real for us. This may be a very recent loss for you, this may be a loss that happened quite some time ago, or it may be somewhere in between. It does not matter how long ago the loss was, grief has no timetable. This could be a person you were very close with or a casual acquaintance. All are welcome to attend as grief affects us all. We will have refreshments and helpful takeaways for those struggling with grief during the holidays. We are offering four different services, see below for dates, times, and locations.

Adult Grief Support Groups

Grief support groups are led by professional grief counselors. Formats include structured groups that may meet weekly or monthly as well as informal gatherings. During each support group session, participants learn tools to help them work through their grief as well as regain a sense of purpose, value, and joy. Grief support groups are open to the public and there is no cost to attend.

Journeys Adult Support Group

This is a 6-week group that provides a safe space to share experienced grief, understand what to expect and be equipped with resources and coping skills. It is facilitated by a counselor and is offered throughout the year. Each session meets weekly. At the beginning of each group session, new participants are encouraged to join and participate for the entirety of the series. After week two, the group becomes a private, closed group for the remaining weeks.
