Your Time

Just an hour or two a week makes a difference. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Companion Volunteers: support patients in their homes, area facilities and our Inpatient Care Unit at Penrose Hospital
  • Welcome Volunteers: support reception desks at our Tenderfoot Hill Street headquarters or our inpatient care unit at Penrose Hospital
  • Complementary Therapy Volunteers: support patient care using touch therapies, aromatherapy, Soothing Sounds music, and pet therapy teams
  • Helping Hands Volunteers: support families with tasks after the death of their loved one
  • Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers: provide support to patients who have served our country
  • Friends in Faith Volunteers: promote special relationship between volunteers, patients, and families based on spirituality
  • Administrative Volunteers: assist office staff with administrative assignments
  • Assisting Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation with events, mailings and other special projects
