Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) masking and safety guidelines for indoor buildings. Our practices are based on the COVID-19 positivity rate for the county in which our facilities are located. We evaluate these positivity rates weekly and adjust our policy according to the CDC safety recommendations listed below. Please contact the office/location you are visiting, prior to your visit, for updated information.

CDC Positivity Rate Guidelines for Indoor Gatherings

High Incidence (positivity rate equal to or greater than 10.0%)

For fully vaccinated persons, CDC recommends masking and 6 feet social distance at all internal gatherings. Unvaccinated persons recommended to wear masks at all times during internal gatherings.

Substantial Incidence (positivity rate between 8.0% and 9.9%)

For fully vaccinated persons, CDC recommends masking at all internal gatherings. Unvaccinated persons recommended to wear masks at all times during internal gatherings.

Moderate Incidence (positivity rate between 5.0% and 7.9%)

For fully vaccinated persons, CDC encourages social distancing/no mask recommendation. Unvaccinated persons recommended to wear masks at all times during internal gatherings.
