Honoring Those Who Care
Patients and families often ask how they can show their appreciation for the care they or their loved one received from Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care. The Hearts of Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care program provides an opportunity to pay tribute to an individual employee, volunteer, or an entire care team who treated you, or your loved one, with exceptional care. By making a donation, you not only honor a caregiver, but you also ensure hospice and palliative care is available for others in need.
How Does It Work?
You may make an online donation. Be sure to check the Hearts of Hospice box and identify the individual(s) you would like to honor. In the Notes box, please share a brief story about the difference your honoree(s) have made. If you prefer, you may download and complete the Hearts of Hospice form and mail it with your contribution to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
On receipt of your donation, Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation will arrange to honor the employee, volunteer, or care team in front of their peers by presenting them with a certificate of appreciation and a Hearts of Hospice pin to wear on their lapel or name badge. A photograph of the occasion and an expression of gratitude will be sent to the donor.
What are the Benefits?
There are numerous benefits to patients, families, and the employee, volunteer, or care teams through this program. First, it honors excellence in service provided by Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care. Second, donations from this program benefit future patients and families through programs of care and related support services.
Please know it is an honor to provide our community with exceptional hospice and palliative care services.
We are honored to walk this journey with you.
