Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation (PPHF), the only community-based, nonprofit hospice and palliative care in the Pikes Peak region, is pleased to honor BJ Scott for her outstanding contributions to the Pikes Peak region with the Quality of Life Award.
Quality of Life Award
The Quality of Life Award recognizes an individual or entity whose work demonstrates four core principles:
- Every life experience is exceptional.
- Optimism is powerful and contagious.
- To listen is to understand.
- Comfort and dignity should be accessible to all.
BJ’s personal and professional service reflects the criteria to receive this award. She spent nearly 20 years leading Peak Vista Community Health Centers, co-founded the nonprofit Innovations in Aging Collaborative, then also co-founded the Affordable Housing Collaborative and is currently helping transition it to the Pikes Peak Housing Network.
To celebrate BJ’s accomplishments, Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation (PPHF) is hosting Illuminations 2023 on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 7:30am to 8:30am at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. As a sponsor of this fundraising event, you can support BJ Scott and PPHF’s efforts to create a stronger, more vibrant community.
In addition to supporting patients with chronic or terminal illness to receive compassionate care, comfort, and dignity, you will receive as a sponsor:

Table Captain Opportunities
We are also offering Table Captain opportunities for those who wish to invite their friends, colleagues, and family members to join us in honoring BJ. Table Captains will receive a special acknowledgement at the event and will have the opportunity to network with other community leaders. An ask for a meaningful gift will be made at Illuminations and all proceeds will benefit Pikes Peak Hospice Foundations’ ongoing efforts to help patients and their families live life to the fullest.
