Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care has earned a 4-star rating from Medicare’s Care Compare, based on results from the CAHPS Hospice Family Caregiver Survey. This survey reflects the experiences of family caregivers and provides valuable insight into the quality of care and support provided by hospice organizations.

For nearly five decades, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care has been honored to care for patients and families throughout the Pikes Peak region. Our history reflects a longstanding commitment to compassionate care, while our continued growth allows us to meet the changing needs of our community.
A Dedicated Inpatient Care Center
Our freestanding Inpatient Care Center, the only such facility in the region, provides a peaceful, comfortable setting for patients who need inpatient hospice care. The center features 12 private suites, along with amenities designed to support both patients and their loved ones, including a family kitchen and dining area, great room, chapel, veterans’ reflection room, children's play area and beautiful gardens.
Opened in 2025, the Inpatient Care Center represents a significant milestone in our organization's history and reflects decades of dedication from staff, volunteers and donors to serving patients and families with dignity and compassion.
24/7 Clinical Support
Hospice needs don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do we. Our clinical team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide support, answer questions and help address changing needs. Our team also includes an on-site medical director, providing an additional level of clinical expertise and support.
Grief Support for Families and Our Community
Hospice care extends beyond the patient. Grief can affect families, friends and members of the broader community, both before and after a loss. Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care offers grief and bereavement support to help people navigate loss and find connection, understanding and hope.
Specialized Care for Veterans
We are proud to honor and serve those who have served our country. Our specialized Veterans care recognizes the unique experiences, needs and sacrifices of veterans and provides meaningful support to help ensure they receive the dignity and recognition they deserve. We are the only regional hospice to attain Level 5 status of We Honor Veterans, a program developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs focused on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgment.
Our Own Medical Equipment Team
Having the right medical equipment at the right time can make a significant difference in comfort and quality of life. Our dedicated medical equipment team, Superior Medical Equipment, helps coordinate timely delivery and provides ongoing support, helping patients and families get the equipment they need with less stress and delay.
