Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care hosts an annual celebration and live Butterfly Release in remembrance of those whom we love and have lost in the Colorado Springs community.
2025 Commemorative Celebration Butterfly Event
Each year, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care welcomes the Colorado Springs community to join together for our Commemorative Butterfly Release—a heartfelt gathering to honor and remember loved ones who have passed.
This year’s event will include a reading of names prior to the butterfly release, offering a symbolic tribute to those we carry in our hearts. We encourage guests to register online and submit names for the reading by Friday, July 25. A final call for names will also take place at the event at 9:30 AM.
Event Highlights:
- Beautiful outdoor setting at Hillside Gardens
- Reading of submitted names before the butterfly release
- A quiet, supportive space for remembrance and reflection
This event is free and open to all members of our community, regardless of whether your loved one received care from Pikes Peak Hospice.
Optional Tribute:
Donations are not required to attend. However, with a gift of $20 or more, you’ll receive:
- A Butterfly Celebration Certificate personalized with your loved one’s name
- A commemorative butterfly pin

Note: Parking for those with limited mobility available in the Hillside Gardens parking lot. Additional parking available in the church parking lot just beyond (south of) the garden entrance. Street parking also available.
