That powerful reminder came from Ed Osborne, who, alongside his wife Mary, received the Quality of Life Award at the 2025 Illuminations Breakfast – Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation’s annual fundraising event. In his heartfelt remarks, Ed encouraged everyone present to support Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care’s mission of delivering expert, compassionate care to those facing life-limiting illness. Inspired by his words, many of the more than 370 attendees stepped up, moving from the sidelines into action with their generous contributions. We are deeply grateful to serve such a compassionate, engaged, and extraordinary community!

What is Illuminations?
Illuminations is a free event for anyone interested in learning more about Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care.
Why Support Illuminations?
We believe that hospice care is about living, and that every patient and family deserves consistent expert care and compassionate personal attention. As the only nonprofit, community-based hospice in El Paso and Teller Counties, each and every year, we help over 2,000 patients and families navigate the challenges of a life-limiting illness with comfort, dignity and fulfillment. We are proud that 100% of net funds raised helps us to provide needed services to our community such as charity care for the uninsured, Veteran services, pediatric services, grief services, and complementary therapies (pet, music, aromatherapy and touch).
Become a Table Captain!
We would love to fill the venue to capacity with potential supporters. That equates to 40 tables of 10. The task of a Table Captain is to invite others to a table to be your guest. It’s that simple. Can you help us and fill at least one table of 10? We will provide you with all the information and support you need to prepare. Inpatient Care Center First Look
With the population in our region continuing to expand, the need for hospice services and specifically for inpatient hospice care continues to increase. To better meet the needs of patients and their families, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care has constructed a state-of-the-art hospice Inpatient Care Center (ICC), expanding our patient rooms from 8 to 12. The ICC is a beautiful, home-like environment nestled in a quiet location, and will provide our community amenities that bring increased comfort and dignity at end-of-life.
