Building stronger connections at Peterson Space Force Base

Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was honored to participate in the recent Forge the Force Resource Fair at Peterson Space Force Base, joining organizations from across the region in support of military members, Department of Defense civilians, veterans, and their families.

Hosted by Space Base Delta 1 and Space Base Delta 41, the family-friendly event was designed to strengthen community connections and provide valuable resources that promote military resiliency, wellness, and mission readiness. Attendees had the opportunity to explore services available throughout the Colorado Springs community while connecting with organizations dedicated to supporting every aspect of military life.

Our team was proud to share information about the compassionate hospice, palliative care, and grief support services we provide throughout the Pikes Peak region. Whether caring for veterans, supporting families through serious illness, or helping loved ones navigate grief, we are committed to ensuring that every person receives care with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Events like the Forge the Force Resource Fair highlight the importance of collaboration between military installations and community organizations. By working together, we can ensure that service members, veterans, and their families have access to the resources they need—not only during times of crisis, but throughout every stage of life.
