Bringing joy to the community at the Pikes Peak Post Acute Carnival
At Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, caring for our community extends beyond the services we provide. We believe that creating opportunities for connection, laughter, and shared experiences is an important part of supporting the well-being of older adults and those who care for them.
Recently, our team had the pleasure of participating in a carnival hosted by Pikes Peak Post Acute. The event brought together residents, staff, families, and community partners for an afternoon filled with fun, friendship, and smiles.
Our team joined in the festivities by hosting games of Connect 4 and Plinko, where participants tested their luck and enjoyed a little friendly competition. We also helped everyone stay cool by serving snow cones throughout the event and proudly sponsored a face painter whose colorful creations delighted attendees of all ages.
While the games and treats were certainly highlights, what made the day truly special were the conversations, laughter, and connections shared along the way. These moments remind us that supporting quality of life includes celebrating joy, encouraging social connection, and simply spending time together.
We are grateful to Pikes Peak Post Acute for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event and for everything they do to create meaningful experiences for their residents.
