Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care recently joined The Golden Bridge Network and other community partners for a Bingo & BBQ event in Woodland Park, bringing seniors and local organizations together for an afternoon of connection, conversation and fun.
The Golden Bridge Network helps seniors in Teller County connect with resources and services available in their community. By bringing community organizations together, the network helps ensure older adults and their families have opportunities to learn about the support available to them.
For Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, participating in events like this is about more than sharing information. It is an opportunity to listen, build relationships and be present in the communities we serve.
Community events provide a welcoming setting for seniors and families to meet local organizations, ask questions and discover resources that can support them. They also give organizations like Pikes Peak Hospice the opportunity to learn more about the needs and priorities of the people in our community.
We are grateful to The Golden Bridge Network for bringing community partners together and creating a space where seniors can connect, have fun and learn about resources available to them.
Strong communities are built through connection and collaboration. Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to be part of that effort in Teller County and throughout the communities we serve.
