Hospice isn’t about death. It’s about the rest of your life.

“Hospice isn’t about death, it’s about the rest of your life.”

Those words offer a powerful way to understand what hospice care is really about.

Hospice is often associated with the end of life. But at its heart, hospice is about helping people live as fully and comfortably as possible for the time they have remaining. It is about focusing on what matters most to each individual — whether that means spending time with family, remaining at home, finding relief from symptoms, creating meaningful memories or simply having the support to enjoy another day.

Hospice also extends beyond the person receiving care. Families and caregivers receive support, guidance and compassion during a time that can be both challenging and deeply meaningful. In turn, hospice can have a positive impact on entire families and communities.

That is why we are grateful to Rocky Mountain PBS and Allies for Aging for helping us create this video and share a broader perspective on hospice care.

The video highlights the powerful, positive difference hospice can make — not only by providing expert clinical care, but by helping people and families navigate an important chapter of life with comfort, dignity and support.

Hospice isn't about giving up. It is about making the most of the life that remains.

It is about more time together. More meaningful moments. More comfort. More support. More living.

We invite you to watch the video and share it with someone who may benefit from seeing hospice from a different perspective.

Because hospice isn’t about death.

It’s about the rest of your life.
