We are in uncharted waters and typically volunteers are deployed to help. Now they are being asked to continue to stay at home. This is the case for many of our awesome volunteers at Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care.
So what are voluteers currently doing? Calling patients to offer support, sending notes, cards and drawings, making Zoom calls and singing, grocery shopping, dropping items off at patients, sewing, making masks, blankets, busy mats, neck pillows and more!
