My husband of 58 ½ years, Tony, was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Tony was also a giving person.
We have three beautiful children living and have lost one son. In addition, we have five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
We have truly been blessed. Tony was a great Dad and a wonderful Grandpa. Our children live in different states, but he always made sure we would visit them often.
After he retired, he purchased an RV – his greatest wish. We traveled through the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. We made lots of good friends. He loved to fish and hunt; Tony loved the outdoors. Whenever he would walk into a room, he had something about him that people loved. He had a beautiful personality and was respected by everyone. Anyone younger than him called him “Uncle” and anyone else would call him “Brother.” He was the apple of my eye and always will be.
